Loners are cats living on their own who do not belong in any Clan or Tribe, are not looked after by Twolegs, and are passive to the Clans or Tribes.

Definition Edit

There can be different point of views on the definition.

  • Most cats think loners are cats living close to Twolegs, but aren't part of a Clan, and don't eat food given by Twolegs. (e.g the Barn Cats : Tulip, Cinder, Tiger, and Cream.)
  • Some believe a loner is any cat that is living on it's own.
  • Some stated that loners are cats who live on their own, away from Twolegs, and don't cause trouble. A rogue also lives on their own, but causes trouble.

All of these are correct.

Description Edit

Loners often stake a claim on an area around Clan and Tribe territory. These places are often near Twolegs, such as on farms, abandoned homes, barns, or any sheltered area. They tend to keep to themselves and stay off Clan and Tribe territories, and are known more for their independence and friendliness. Some may think they are untrustworthy, but others befriend them off the chance that they may be useful allies in the future.

In the Books Edit

Loners are less common than kittypets and rogues, but are less likely to experience violence from Clan cats than either of the other classifications.
